What is Interior Design & Organization Wellness?
1. Is Design & Organization Wellness the same as Feng Shui?
No. This approach combines comprehensive interior design, colour
psychology, layered lighting and light “therapy”, multi sensory
techniques, left / right brain function / organizational styles
and customization to the person(s) as well as the space.
2. What are the elements of Design for Wellness?
The top 10
elements in your space that either encourage you towards
wellness or disease are: Function, Organization, Colour, Light,
Texture, Shape, Scale, Sound, Smell, Fun / Memories.
3. What new emotions will a Design & Organization
Wellness plan promote?
Inspiration, Calm, Joy, Productivity, Control, Pride, Freedom,
Peace, Harmony, Punctuality, Comfortable etc….
4. What do I have to lose by not adopting a
wellness design and organization plan?
Stress, Discord, Depletion, Inefficiency, Lack of control,
Shame, Confinement, Lateness, Confrontational
5. How do I know this actually works?
Just ask our clients:
A 16 yr old teen whose optometrist noticed a drastic improvement
in the health of her eyes and automatically suspected it was
because of better organization.
An 18 year old teen whose happier, more confident, no longer
ashamed to bring friends over to hang out.
A family of four which now feels in control and feels less need
to control others. They experience less conflict and stress as a
family unit, have more free time and are no longer constantly
late. “We feel like we have a space that truly reflects us as a
family.”
A 42 yr old bachelor who, having worked with Lisa, is both
calmed and inspired with a new sense of freedom and more
productivity.
A single female who says she is more confident in herself and
experiences less turmoil, greater productivity and more time
engaging in the outside world.
6. How do I get started?
Decide whether you are interested in Design and / or
Organization. Lisa will come out to your space for a 2 hour
consultation / brain storming session. If you desire more help,
you can opt for either:
A. COACHING (think personal trainer) - a combination of DIY
ideas, phone sessions, in home meetings and shopping /
resourcing trips.
or
B. CONCIERGE - let Lisa and her team implement the entire plan.
7. I want to be very involved.
Great! Lisa is committed to the end result being a reflection of
you. The best option for you is COACHING. Lisa’s passion is very
contagious; you will walk away feeling tremendously equipped and
incredibly inspired.
8. What is Lisa’s design style?
Lisa’s personal style is very eclectic, sensory and colourful.
However, Lisa is known for discerning and drawing out her
client’s style preferences and finding the perfect compromise
for couples with differing styles and ideas.
9. What organizational system does Lisa use?
The process is an easy 10 steps. The plan - “the kindergarten
model” of simplicity. The organization system is custom designed
using very different techniques and a wide array of products
depending on how YOU are wired to function.
10. How much will this cost?
From as little as $250 for a consultation + takeaway plan for
the DIY client. The COACHING option can run between $500 and
$3500 and the CONCIERGE option starting from $2500.
Products are additional. Numbers ultimately depend on size and
scope of project and how much you want to be involved. After the
consultation, you will be provided with an estimate of hours
required. Case studies are also available.
11. How long can I expect to maintain this system?
It is incredibly easy to maintain forever if you are truly
committed to positive change and spend the daily 5-10 minutes to
keep it sustained. Sometimes there are issues like fear of
letting go that need to be addressed in tandem for optimal
results.
12. I want to also get some furniture upholstered,
new countertops and flooring and tiling done at the same time.
No problem. Lisa has reliable suppliers and trades she has
worked with for years.
